EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a mid-town Manhattan Real Estate Management Company in search of a Senior Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with hands-on experience in journal entries and accounts receivable. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the company’s operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post a high volume of journal entries accurately and timely.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Support financial reporting and analysis for management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
