EA SPORTS Madden is looking for a Content Manager to write in-game messaging and manage the pipeline to our global network of players.
Responsibilities
- Be the expert of our content schedule and ensure every detail is accurate and ready for programming.
- Manage the content pipeline by securing timely approvals from stakeholders.
- Write all in-game messaging copy, including loading screens, pop-up messages, and more.
- Work cross-functionally with content designers, artists, and programmers to create accurate and informative copy.
- Identify gaps in processes and suggest workflow enhancements.
- Follow content, social, and digital trends and best practices within and outside the gaming industry.
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Proficient with AP Style
- Understanding of player motivation and target audiences
- Familiarity with Asana, Jira, Google Suite, and Airtable is a plus
- Knowledge of the NFL and a football aficionado
- Prior copywriting experience, preferably short-form
- Prior experience managing detailed schedules and timelines
- Copywriting examples or portfolio
- BA or BS in related project management or marketing fields are a plus, but not required
