Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in applying civil engineering fundamentals to environmental projects while gaining hands-on experience in both field and office settings.
Our work spans a broad range of environmental and civil engineering services, including site characterization, remediation, design, permitting, and construction support. In this role, you will contribute across multiple project phases and develop a well-rounded technical skillset early in your career.

Responsibilities
You will collaborate with a team of engineers and scientists to support a variety of project activities, including:
- Conducting field work such as construction oversight and environmental sampling
- Supporting site investigations and remediation efforts
- Assisting in the preparation of technical reports, memoranda, and data summaries
- Performing engineering calculations and supporting design tasks (e.g., grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control)
- Assisting with the development of plans, specifications, and permit applications
- Supporting construction-phase activities, including site visits, inspections, and documentation
This position requires periodic travel to project sites, which may involve outdoor work in varying conditions. Travel is project-based and may include occasional overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in environmental engineering projects with application of civil/site design principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel regionally to project sites, with occasional travel beyond the region as needed
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or intent to pursue P.E. licensure
- Coursework or experience in environmental permitting, site characterization, remediation, or stormwater management
- Basic familiarity with AutoCAD and/or GIS (coursework or internship experience is sufficient)
- Exposure to a diverse range of projects—from field investigations to design and construction support
- Opportunity to build both hands-on field experience and technical engineering skills early in your career
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment with a mix of experience levels and backgrounds
- Clear path for technical and professional growth, including support toward P.E. licensure
