Cost Allocation & Direct Cost Review

• Review and document the current cost allocation methodology across divisions.
• Assess what costs are being allocated, how allocations are calculated, and ensure charges are logical, consistent, and defensible.
• Evaluate how direct costs are captured and charged to each division and identify opportunities for greater accuracy or process improvement.

Divisional Financial Reporting

• Integrate Divisional P&Ls into the company’s monthly reporting package.
• Build or refine reporting templates that clearly present division-level performance and key drivers.
• Partner with leadership to ensure divisional reporting aligns with both operational and executive needs.

POC/WIP Review & Refinement

• Review and refine the percentage of completion (POC) and work-in-progress (WIP) calculation process.
• Ensure consistency with revenue recognition standards and internal controls.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risk areas in current WIP accounting.

Audit & Transaction Support

• Support ongoing OBS audit and interim audit activities, serving as a key point of contact for financial data, explanations, and documentation.
• Assist with preparation and organization of materials for the finalized OBS and closing statement.
• Help ensure financial data consistency between internal reporting and transaction documentation.

Cash Flow & Short-Term Forecasting

• Develop and maintain a 13-week cash flow forecast.
• Identify cash risks, timing issues, and liquidity needs.
• Provide weekly updates and scenario analysis to leadership.

Organizational Support

• Assist in the VP-Finance/Controller search by supporting with role definition, candidate review input, and transition planning.
• Help bridge operational continuity during leadership transition
