Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Albuquerque, NM for a Physical Therapy Aide. The Physical Therapy Aide will assist licensed physical therapists in preparing equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and preparing treatment areas. Responsibilities also include assisting patients with therapeutic exercises under supervision, ensuring patient comfort during sessions, and supporting therapy staff with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Background in basic exercise performance to support patient treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with patients, therapists, and team members.
- Experience in Patient Care and Customer Service to ensure positive and professional interactions with clients and address their needs.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain a clean and safe therapeutic environment.
- Ability to follow directions, multitask, and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in physical therapy technician or related fields are beneficial.
