Senior Lead Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior Lead Engineer to drive innovative software solutions and lead complex system development initiatives. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, distributed systems utilizing microservices architecture and cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Architect robust software solutions by applying best practices in system design, including service-oriented architecture (SOA), design patterns, and enterprise solution implementation.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Oversee code quality through code reviews, continuous integration (CI/CD), and version control tools like Git or SVN to ensure maintainability and consistency.
• Implement APIs using RESTful services, SOAP, and Web services to enable seamless integration across platforms.
• Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies such as NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra), containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud architecture strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers, foster a culture of agile development, and ensure adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices for efficient project delivery.

Skills

• Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms including AWS or Azure, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript (including frameworks like React, Angular, Ember.js), and.NET technologies.
• Deep knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) as well as relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server.
• Expertise in designing scalable systems using microservices architecture, distributed computing concepts, and system design for high availability.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture (SOA), RESTful API development, SOAP web services, and API management.
• Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD; container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes; automation tools like Ansible.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns such as MVC, design patterns, and enterprise solutions implementation.
• Knowledge of front-end web development frameworks including Bootstrap, Ext JS, Kendo UI; proficiency in HTML5/CSS3; experience with web design principles.
• Ability to manage requirements gathering processes effectively while ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly across teams and stakeholders.

Pay: $250,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
