E2RC,LLC is seeking to hire a dependable and durable individual to conduct environmental compliance inspections on construction and industrial sites. The inspections will ensure compliance with SWPPP plans, environmental policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements under the NPDES General Permit or local controlling authority.
Pay scale dependent on experience and relevant certifications or licensure. Those with demonstrated inspection experience and knowledge of NPDES regulations will result in higher pay.

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This person completes inspections at active construction and industrial sites according to the established company procedures and schedule.
- The inspector completes inspection reports according to company policy and procedures within required time frames.
- This position updates project stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) and maps as needed or required.
- This position requires driving for long periods of time each day (4-10 hours). This position may also require overnight travel one to two days per week.
- This position may perform basic control measure maintenance activities as needed.
- The successful applicant must be dependable and able to work with minimal oversight and management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Computer Literate.
- Strong writing ability.
- Able to work alone with little oversight.
- Honest and dependable.
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required. Higher education or specialized knowledge may result in higher starting compensation.
- Current SWPPP inspection certification a plus. This person will be required to obtain Stormwater Inspector certification if they do not have certification. Related licensure or certification may result in higher pay.
- Experience in the inspection of erosion control measures, construction management, or related field a plus however, company will provide training.
- Familiarity with federal stormwater requirements a plus.
- Applicant must be able to complete basic calculations.
- Ability to read construction plans a plus.
- Applicant must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time.
- Applicant must be able to walk up to a half mile.
- Applicant must be comfortable learning new software programs and using smartphones and tablets.
- Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Travel:
This position will require approximately 80% out – of – office activities (site inspections) and 20% in – office activities. Inspector is onsite each day performing inspections.
Inspection areas include New Mexico, East Arizona and West Texas. The position requires driving from our home office to job sites to complete inspections. Transportation is provided and travel expenses are covered by the company. Overnight travel may be required up to 25% of working month.
