What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at E2 Group?
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts, ensuring products meet customer specifications and company quality standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, thorough, and skilled in using various inspection tools and documentation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of products at various stages of production.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
- Document inspection results and report any deviations or nonconformances.
- Communicate findings with production and quality teams to ensure timely corrective actions.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain inspection records and comply with all quality assurance procedures.
- Support internal and external audits as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documents.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
