Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to conduct thorough inspections and audits. The Quality Assurance Associate will work closely with manufacturing teams to maintain compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other relevant standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, HACCP, CGMP, and other quality systems throughout the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate and execute quality audits to assess adherence to established quality standards.
- Utilize vision inspection systems for detailed product assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions based on quality findings.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and non-conformance reports.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality management documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Calypso software for measurement analysis is a plus.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other quality inspection tools is advantageous.
- Understanding of QA/QC processes and methodologies is required.
