Mold Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various manufacturing processes, including plastics blow molding, injection molding, and machining. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to operate and maintain various types of machinery while ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Ability to assemble and disassemble molds on press machines
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Engage in fabrication processes and assembly tasks, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize hand tools for assembly, maintenance, and repairs as needed.
• Conduct materials handling tasks efficiently within the warehouse environment.
• Assist in the operation of press brake machines and plastics extrusion equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing principles for process improvement.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on machining or fabrication.
• Familiarity with plastics processing techniques, including blow molding and injection molding is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
