Machine Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Machine Technician to join our manufacturing facility. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machinery and equipment used in our production processes. Duties

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components
• Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly
• Operate precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery aligns with specifications and quality standards
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and modify automation systems for improved efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance records via Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software
• Conduct electrical work involving low voltage and high voltage systems safely, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols
• Assist with field service operations, including troubleshooting on-site equipment at various locations within the facility or customer sites

Skills

• Extensive experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with industrial maintenance responsibilities
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by expertise in hydraulics, welding ( welding as applicable), and HVAC/R systems
• Proficiency with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
• Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks, including using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
• Ability to operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely for maintenance access
• Knowledge of high voltage systems and low voltage control circuits with a focus on safety compliance
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and maintenance tracking
• Customer service skills combined with effective communication in English to coordinate with team members and clients as needed
• Analysis skills to interpret data from precision instruments and diagnostic tools for accurate troubleshooting
• Experience in technical sales or providing technical support is a plus but not required
• Military background or discipline-oriented training is considered advantageous for this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
