Injection Mold Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics injection molding and possess mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various machinery. This role requires attention to detail, quality inspection skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including programmable logic controllers and CNC lathes.
• Utilize hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Manage materials handling and ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for efficiency improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plastics injection molding, with knowledge of related processes such as blow molding and extrusion.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery, press brake machines, and basic machining techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience with quality inspection processes and the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, along with materials handling capabilities.
