Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and drive projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of construction management methodologies. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any issues.
- Developing estimates and/or proposals for new projects or change orders.
- Responsible for developing and managing project schedules and determining the labor requirements.
- Responsible for developing and managing the project schedule of values and the project budget.
- Responsible for submitting monthly invoices to the client(s), and compiling and approving subcontractor invoices.
- Responsible for ensuring daily project operations are maintained and work is being completed per the project schedule.
- Responsible for tracking deviations from project schedules and costs; and maintaining project records and reports.
- Responsible for subcontract buyout, and ensuring projects are staffed to meet the schedule and resource requirements.
- Responsible for monitoring the overall project progress and preparing job records for reporting to company ownership.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
- Responsible for leading regular meetings with owners, trade contractors, architects, and other design professionals on project progress.
- Responsible for evaluating employee and subcontractor performance.
- Managing change orders- evaluating the impact of the change, working with the subcontractor and Superintendent to find a resolution to the change, ensuring the owner is notified in a timely manner, and working with the owner to find a resolution to keep the project moving forward.
- This is a list of primary tasks for this position, and the Project Manager may be tasked with providing company support on other projects as directed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project management principles, processes and software.
- E2 Development utilizes Procore for its construction management. The offeror will be expected to use Procore to accomplish many of the daily tasks they are responsible for.
- Offeror will be provided a computer and access to other software as needed for these responsibilities.
- Offeror must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license. Offeror will be responsible for being on time to work at the various projects.
