Fleet Manager Summary
In this crucial operations position, you'll serve as a champion for our drivers. You'll play a critical role in the successful dispatch and management of drivers. Your support will facilitate smooth, timely deliveries, and strong customer satisfaction. In this role, you'll lead drivers and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that drivers have every opportunity to be successful. You'll communicate dispatch plans as well as coach and support drivers every step of the way. Those who enjoy playing the role of a coach, and pushing their team to success will excel within this support role.
Your Responsibilities
- Driver Management // Lead, coach, and act as a servant leader to your assigned drivers, ensuring they have all the necessary information and opportunities to be successful.
- Dispatch and Communication // Communicate the dispatch plan to drivers and monitor performance regarding pickup and delivery timelines.
- Support Driver Success // Collaborate with drivers to ensure they have the tools at their disposal to be successful and develop as professional drivers.
- Internal Collaboration // Ensure effective communication with internal departments to ensure that all stakeholders are updated and working with current information.
- Monitor Performance // Understand, analyze, and review driver performance to identify opportunities for improvement and coach drivers through difficulties to success.
- Data Review // Review critical KPIs like driver miles, pay, home time, and upcoming schedules.

- Effective Communication // Demonstrable experience in a position where your ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals across various mediums was critical to your success.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least one (1) year of experience in a position where your ability to succeed was contingent upon your ability to communicate professionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in business administration, business management, or a related field, and at least one (1) year of experience in dispatch, driver manager, or related position in the transportation industry.
- Management Experience // Previous experience managing employees and large teams is a plus.
Salary and Schedule
- Salary // Pay will be decided based on experience.
- Schedule // Full-Time; On-Site; Monday - Friday; 07:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
