Job Title: MIG Welder

Schedules Available:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay Range:
- Base Pay: $27 - $28 per hour (Based on experience)
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced MIG Welders to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for performing precision MIG welds on stainless steel components, including long welds on thin-gauge material. Ideal candidates will have strong blueprint-reading skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate MIG welding equipment according to specifications
- Read and interpret mechanical and shop drawings to plan work tasks
- Weld standard parts with average tolerances, including long seams on thin stainless steel
- Use templates, clamps, and measurement tools to position and fit parts accurately
- Select and use appropriate welding rods and fabricated parts
- Ensure all welding meets quality standards and dimensional accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical school training in welding or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience, particularly with stainless steel
- Ability to read blueprints and use calipers or other measuring tools
- Strong focus on precision, safety, and independent work
This is a contract to hire position.
