Role Description
This is a full-time (37–42 hours per week), on-site position in Colorado Springs, CO, for a Warehouse Associate. Responsibilities include receiving, packing, and inventorying items; unloading equipment; operating forklifts and pallet jacks; and maintaining an organized warehouse. Customer service experience is helpful, as members of the public regularly drop off e-waste. The Warehouse Associate will also assist with processing and preparing technology for refurbishment or proper recycling.
Promotion Track
We are seeking someone who can be trained into a Warehouse Supervisor role within approximately 3 to 6 months. In this role, you would oversee a small team (3 people total), manage the organization of a 5,000 sq ft warehouse, ensure safe operations, coordinate outgoing shipments, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Available to start immediately
- Reliable and punctual
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and packing
- Ability to unload items and operate pallet jacks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Capable of safely lifting and moving heavy items (team lift over ~60 lbs, especially TVs)
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications are a plus
- Commitment to responsible recycling and sustainability
Bonus Points
- Forklift operation experience
- Experience driving a box truck with a good driving record
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience (preferred, not required)
Hours
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Every other Saturday: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
- Some flexibility for medical appointments, family obligations, and personal time
