Duties
- Greet visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through exhibits and museum facilities
- Manage guest inquiries with clear communication and resolve conflicts efficiently to ensure a positive experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately during ticket sales and gift shop purchases within the museum
- Support working with children during interactive activities or educational programs to foster curiosity and learning
- Conduct public speaking engagements or guided tours to educate visitors about exhibits and museum history
Experience
- Ability to navigate and work within a team/group oriented setting
- Prior experience in customer service or guest services roles within cultural institutions, resorts, theaters, or hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability in events management, including coordinating activities or programs for diverse audiences
- Conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems in retail or food service environments
- Working with children during educational programs or interactive exhibits to promote engaging learning experiences
- Public speaking skills for leading tours or educational presentations effectively
