Key Responsibilities

Data & ETL Pipeline Testing (GCP)

 Design and execute test plans for data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.

 Validate ETL workflows in the GCP ecosystem (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer).

 Perform source-to-target data reconciliation, verifying transformation logic and data integrity using complex SQL queries.

 Validate automated data quality checks to monitor schema changes, duplicate rows, and null values in the data pipeline.

Application (Frontend & Backend) Testing

 Perform end-to-end testing of a web application frontends across various browsers and devices.

 Test backend APIs (REST/GraphQL), microservices, and serverless functions to ensure accurate data processing and secure communication.

General QA Excellence

 Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Software Developers to define clear acceptance criteria.

 Identify, log, and track defects using tracking software.

 Execute regression, functional, and performance testing to certify stable product releases.

Qualifications & Skills

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 Experience: 5 years of professional experience in software QA, with a strong mix of data pipeline and application testing.

 Data Skills: Deep proficiency in SQL; hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data stack (BigQuery, Dataflow, etc.).

 Mindset: Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced Agile environments.
