- Strong project management skills
Requirements
- Education: BS/MS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: 5 years in controls & automation
Core Responsibilities
- Define technical & cost specifications for tooling and automation.
- Support R&D, DFA, and FMEA activities; mitigate design risks.
- Contribute to tooling strategy, CAPEX (CER), and supplier selection.
- Manage suppliers for design, build, and testing of equipment.
- Lead design reviews, FAT/SAT, and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, MSA).
- Program & troubleshoot:
- PLCs (Allen Bradley)
- HMIs
- Vision Systems (Cognex)
- Data systems (LabVIEW)
- Provide training & technical support to manufacturing teams.
- Drive process improvements & new control technologies.
- Support product transfer (Pilot → Plant).
- Report risks impacting timeline (TTM) or cost.
