We are a family owned and operated business with close ties to the community. We offer competitive pay based on experience and many perks/benefits with-in our company. Work Schedule will be Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch and some Saturdays when needed.
Must Have Own Tools (We have shop equipment and tools for certain jobs) and PA Safety Inspection and Emissions Licenses.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs with precision.
- Complete vehicle inspections such as alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations (not required but a plus), and vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety and performance standards.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle care.
- Document all work performed accurately for auto estimating purposes and maintain detailed service records.
Skills
- Proven experience with a strong understanding of automotive service procedures.
- Extensive knowledge automotive electrical systems, and schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in diagnosing issues related to powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engines.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment(willing to teach), and other maintenance tools.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform complex automotive repairs efficiently.
- Experience with vehicle alignment procedures and automotive electrical troubleshooting.
- Service technician experience with a focus on auto estimating and customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with most vehicles or similar makes is a plus; diesel engine repair expertise is highly valued but not required.
