What are the responsibilities and job description for the E&R On-Site Service Representative position at E & R Industrial?
POSTION SUMMARY:
Onsite Services Representative is responsible for supporting E&R’s strategic vision to our customer by providing superior service. Coordinating and assisting with managing inventory through vending and other VMI solutions on-site at our customer.
Under direction but working independently within the team, specific duties would include:
Program Support
- Receive / deploy product in designated locations throughout a large manufacturing plant (multiple Buildings).
- Track shelf-life items with the use of software and physical review.
- Ensure proper product is deployed and process followed.
- Ensure customer inventory locations are kept properly labeled and quantities on hand are accurate.
- Ensure accuracy of all activities related to vending solutions / program requirements.
- Housekeeping of vending areas and E&R locations.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and accurately.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for products, process improvement, and cycle time.
- Maintain all safety, housekeeping, FOD, ESD, and inspection requirements of the customer and E&R.
- PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Similar work experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Inventory Management Systems experience preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Computer knowledge- Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to work in high volume, fast paced environment.
- Ability to resolve problems using people skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal / external customers.
- Must abide by all customer rules and regulations. This is a government contractor facility.
- Drive company van to make deliveries / pickups as needed.
- Ability to walk and move carts throughout a large campus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work conditions are typical of a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift 25-75 lbs. Ability to move 55 gal drums with material handling equipment.
- Additional background, drug screening.
