E-ONE - Assembly Mechanic II

Performs a wide range of assembly and troubleshooting tasks with moderate independence.

Core Responsibilities

• Independently read and interpret:
• • Blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and schematics
• Assemble and install:
• • Harnesses
  • Switch panels
  • Electrical and mechanical components
• Program lighting systems per engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot:
• • 12V DC and 110V AC systems
• Perform repairs and rebuilds on:
• • Mechanical
  • Electrical
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Conduct functional testing and diagnose faults.
• Trace wiring, repair connections, and replace components as needed.
• Perform equipment setup and changeovers.
• Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs, and shop orders.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of:
• • Electrical systems (12V DC & 110V AC)
  • Mechanical assembly processes
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation independently.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred).

Problem Solving

• Diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.
• Identify non-conforming products and assist with corrective/preventive actions.

• Participate in LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate flexibility across work areas.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is $19.00 – $21.50. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role.
