Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst with mid-level experience in mortgage advertising review to support our Compliance team. This role is responsible for ensuring all marketing materials comply with applicable federal and state regulations, supporting financial crimes compliance efforts, and assisting with regulatory examinations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience reviewing mortgage advertisements, working in compliance systems, and tracking licensing and training requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve mortgage-related advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations
- Interpret and apply regulatory requirements to marketing content, including digital, print, social media, and third-party advertising
- Utilize compliance software systems to review, document, and clear potential findings or exceptions identified during reviews
- Maintain accurate records of compliance reviews, decisions, and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Legal teams to provide guidance on compliant advertising practices
- Identify trends, recurring issues, and risk areas within advertising reviews and escalate as appropriate
- Assist with preparation and response efforts for state regulatory examinations, including documentation gathering and remediation tracking
- Support internal audits and quality control initiatives
- Identify potential suspicious activity and assist with the investigation, documentation, and filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with BSA/AML requirements
- Ensure timely, accurate SAR filings and maintain strict confidentiality
- Follow up with LOs and staff to ensure completion of required continuing education and internal compliance training
- Maintain training records and escalate overdue or non-compliant items

Qualifications
- 2β5 years of experience in mortgage compliance, with a focus on advertising review
- Strong knowledge of federal and state mortgage advertising regulations
- Experience using compliance or QC systems (e.g., QC Ally, Inco-Check, or similar platforms)
- Familiarity with state examinations and regulatory expectations
- Ability to analyze risk, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience but not required
- Experience with SAR filing or AML/BSA compliance
- Prior involvement in state exams or audits
- Mortgage lending, broker, or correspondent environment experience
Pay: $55,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
