E Mortgage Capital is a fast-growing mortgage brokerage dedicated to helping borrowers find the right lending solutions. We're building out our marketing team and looking for a technically skilled, strategically minded Marketing Automation Specialist to own our marketing automation platform and drive the nurture and lead conversion programs that turn prospects into closed loans.
You'll be the architect and executor of our marketing automation engine. Working directly in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement , you'll design the strategy behind our nurture and lead gen campaigns and then build and run them yourself. You'll report directly to the Head of Marketing and work in close partnership with the CTO on platform integration, data infrastructure, and technical alignment — giving you direct access to senior leadership and the resources to do this role right. You'll also collaborate with our Growth Marketing Manager to ensure purchased leads flow into smart, well-timed automated journeys and work alongside loan officers to keep marketing tightly aligned with their pipeline needs.
- Own the strategy and execution of all nurture and lead generation campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement
- Build and manage automated customer journeys using Journey Builder, segmenting audiences by behavior, loan stage, and demographics
- Develop dynamic email templates and personalized content using Content Builder and AMPscript
- Partner with the Growth Marketing Manager to integrate purchased and aggregated leads into automated nurture workflows
- Work closely with the CTO on platform integrations, data flows, and technical infrastructure supporting marketing automation
- Define and manage lead scoring, segmentation, and database hygiene to ensure the right message reaches the right prospect at the right time
- Collaborate with loan officers to understand pipeline needs and align campaign timing and messaging accordingly
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards tracking open rates, CTR, lead conversion, and pipeline influence — presenting insights and recommendations directly to the Head of Marketing
- Continuously A/B test subject lines, content, audience segments, and send cadences to improve performance
- Ensure all campaigns are compliant with CAN-SPAM and TCPA regulations — critical in the mortgage space
- Evaluate and recommend new Marketing Cloud features, tools, and integrations as the program scales
- 3–5 years of marketing automation experience with deep hands-on expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder)
- Proven ability to both think strategically about marketing automation and execute campaigns independently
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with both marketing leadership and technical teams — you can speak the language of both
- Strong understanding of the lead funnel and how to map content and timing to buyer stages
- Experience integrating marketing automation with CRM systems (Salesforce CRM a strong plus)
- Analytical mindset — comfortable pulling data, identifying trends, and making optimization decisions
- Solid understanding of mortgage or financial services buyer journeys preferred
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and TCPA compliance requirements
- Excellent communicator who can work cross-functionally with sales, vendors, and leadership
- Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Consultant certification strongly preferred
- Experience in mortgage, real estate, or financial services
- Familiarity with SMS/MMS campaigns within Marketing Cloud
- Basic HTML/CSS for email template customization
- Experience with Salesforce Data Studio or Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama)
- Comfort working alongside engineering or product teams on technical integrations
