Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Bicycle Technician to provide high-quality repair and maintenance services to customers in the Tampa Bay area. As a Mobile Bicycle Technician, you will travel to various locations to assist customers with their bicycle needs, ensuring a convenient, efficient, and friendly service experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform bicycle repairs and maintenance on-site, including tune-ups, flat repair, wheel truing, brake adjustments, and chain replacements.
- Diagnose issues and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades based on customer needs.
- Build and assemble new bicycles as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with clients.
- Educate customers on bicycle maintenance best practices and safety.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of parts as needed.
- Keep records of services performed and communicate effectively with management.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace within the mobile unit.
- Maintain a well-stocked mobile repair vehicle with tools and parts for efficient service provision.
Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation (van, SUV, or truck preferred). We pay all fuel, and scheduled maintenance on your vehicle. Must be able to lift 60-70lbs. Must be able to ride a bike.
Experience
- Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic or technician is preferred.
- (WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!)
- Strong mechanical skills and a passion for cycling.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (60-70lb E-bikes) and perform physical tasks as required.
