E-logic is hiring a Palo Alto Technical Architect to provide staff augmentation services to Suffolk County's Department of Information Technology (DoIT). This resource will work under the management of a Suffolk County IT Manager to contribute to cybersecurity posture improvement, policy enforcement and automation, and risk-based compliance and remediation. This role will be full time with a duration of 3 months with a possibility to extend it depending on the agency's needs.Key Responsibilities/TasksThe Technical Architect will focus on the design and configuration of enterprise architecture elements, including:Reviewing Firewall policies and identifying/reporting cybersecurity gaps.Reviewing Firewall interface configurations and reporting cybersecurity gaps.Reviewing Firewall Zones.Documenting and Diagramming the architecture and findings.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a combination of other education and/or experience that can be substituted.8 years of enterprise experience.Experience in the design and creation of enterprise-class architecture in specified technologies, and experience managing project tasks and resources.Important Notice:This role is part of a proposal for the Suffolk County's Department of Information Technology (DoIT).
