Technical Consultant

E-Logic is seeking a highly proactive and skilled Technical Consultant to support a government agency (Internal Revenue Service - IRS) on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the technical implementation, configuration, and optimization of M365 services, providing expert hands-on support and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operation and integration within the highly secure federal cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting, support, and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 services, with a focus on integration and configuration.
• Optimize the IRS M365 cloud environment, including key services like Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and AvePoint Online Services (AOS).
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with IRS SMEs and project teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure solutions align with IRS-specific requirements.
• Participate in technical reviews, solution implementation, and the adoption of M365 best practices.
• Adhere to federal cybersecurity and organizational protocols, providing support in a compliance-focused federal environment.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, cloud technologies, and supporting federal or enterprise environments with strict compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Power Platform, PowerShell scripting, and SharePoint Administration.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with AvePoint Online Services and cloud management tools.
• Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks such as NIST and FISMA is preferred.
