This role is part of a proposal for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Hiring is contingent upon the selection of the consultant. Selected candidates will be included in the proposal and must authorize the use of their resume for submission.
Responsibilities
- Develop System Security Plans (SSPs) for moderate-impact systems.
- Create data flow diagrams using the Florida Digital Service template.
- Support MFA architecture, privileged access design, and audit logging compliance.
- Evaluate system architectures and recommend improvements aligned with NIST CSF.
- Partner with DEP system owners to document controls and technical risks.
- 5 years in security architecture, engineering, or technical cybersecurity roles.
- Deep knowledge of NIST frameworks and state cybersecurity standards.
- Experience with SSP creation, data flow modeling, and control design.
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, CCSP, CISA, GIAC.
