Project Manager

E-Logic is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Manager to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a critical role as the managerial lead, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of high-priority IT projects and ensuring the IRS's initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and fully optimized for mission delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with IRS stakeholders, technical teams, and E-Logic leadership.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), schedules, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, managing day-to-day project activities and driving accountability for task completion.
• Proactively identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and escalation paths as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of communication for the project, providing timely and accurate status reports, presentations, and briefings to all stakeholders, including senior federal personnel.
• Ensure all project artifacts and processes adhere to established Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guidelines, federal regulations, and agile or waterfall methodologies, as appropriate.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in project management o Project management professional (PMP certification).
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Minium 7 years as a project manager with minimum of 5 years in Federal Sector.
