E.J. Reynolds Company is seeking a reliable and motivated Laser Shop Helper to support daily operations in our laser department. This role plays an important part in keeping production running smoothly by assisting with material handling, laser operation, part finishing, and general shop support.

Key Responsibilities

• Deburr and finish laser-cut parts to meet quality standards
• Maintain overall shop cleanliness and organization
• Handle raw materials, including loading/unloading and staging workpieces
• Assist with laser operation, including setup support and monitoring processes
• Provide support to shipping and receiving, including packaging and preparing orders
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Laser Shop Manager
  
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Forklift operation skills (certification preferred or willingness to become certified)
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  
  
  

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

• Basic knowledge of laser cutting equipment
• Experience with measuring tools such as calipers or micrometers
• Shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
  
  
  

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/production environment
• Exposure to machinery, moving materials, and moderate noise levels
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required
