What are the responsibilities and job description for the Moving Crew Leader position at E&J Clean Outs Moving & Storage?
We're a locally owned moving, cleanout, and storage company based in St. Charles and we're growing. We're looking for someone who wants more than just a paycheck. What you'll be doing
- Loading, unloading, and transporting household and commercial goods safely and efficiently
- Handling furniture, appliances, and fragile items with care
- Operating box trucks in compliance with traffic laws
- Working alongside your crew to complete jobs on time and to the customer's satisfaction
- Conducting pre- and post-move vehicle and equipment checks
- Keeping the truck and work area clean and organized
- Communicating professionally with customers throughout the job
What we're looking for
- Physical stamina — you'll be lifting 50 lbs regularly and staying on the move
- Reliability — we need people who show up when they say they will, every time
- A positive attitude and the ability to take direction and work as a team
- Strong communication with both the crew and customers
- Valid driver's license preferred; box truck experience is a plus
- Previous moving, labor, or delivery experience is helpful but not required — we'll train the right person
