E&I Sales Co is looking for an experienced Industrial Motor Application Engineer to join our team!
If you enjoy solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and helping develop practical motor and drive solutions, we'd like to hear from you.In this role, you'll partner with our sales team, customers, and manufacturing partners to select and apply the right motor technologies for a wide range of industrial applications. You'll play a key role in providing technical expertise, troubleshooting application issues, and helping deliver solutions that meet our customers' needs.
What You'll Do
- Select and size low-voltage and medium-voltage NEMA and IEC motors based on application requirements.
- Support customers, end users, and the sales team with technical questions and application challenges.
- Work closely with manufacturers and customers to develop effective, cost-conscious solutions.
- Prepare technical quotations, specifications, and application documentation.
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving in the field when needed.
- Stay informed on industry standards, products, and new technologies related to motors, drives, and industrial automation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working with industrial motor applications, drives, controls, or related equipment.
- Strong understanding of electric motors, VFDs, motor controls, and power transmission systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and site support.
