We are seeking a motivated and skilled Metal Building Erector to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Interpret and follow construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately assemble metal building components.
- Erect steel frameworks, metal studs, siding, roofing, and trim carpentry with precision using hand tools and power tools.
- Install rebar and perform concrete forming tasks to prepare foundations and structural elements.
- Conduct welding and metal stud framing to ensure structural integrity of buildings.
- Use tape measures, dimensional measurements, and basic math skills to verify correct placement and alignment of materials.
- Perform heavy lifting safely while managing construction site safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with masonry, plastering, stucco application, restoration projects, and siding installation as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in metal building erection or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and following detailed construction plans.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for framing, roofing, welding, and finishing tasks.
- Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, masonry work, and roofing procedures.
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices.
- Experience working with various construction materials including metal studs, woodworking components, siding materials, and stucco.
- Strong safety awareness with the ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently in a fast-paced environment.
