Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer located in Indianapolis, IN. The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating and updating technical drawings, construction drawings, and CAD models as required for various projects. They will collaborate closely with design engineers to ensure the accuracy and functionality of designs. Additionally, they are expected to review project specifications, make design adjustments, and support the completion of engineering designs to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
- Experience with Technical Drawing and general drawing skills
- Familiarity with Construction Drawings
- Strong foundation in Design Engineering principles
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Previous experience in industrial design or construction is a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field preferred
