Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and properly set for new guests
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and delivering food or beverages when needed
- Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and disposing of trash according to sanitation protocols
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of tableware, chairs, and cleaning supplies following safe lifting practices
- Support food safety standards by adhering to sanitation guidelines during table clearing and food handling processes
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with catering setups or special event support as required, ensuring all areas meet hospitality standards
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and manual handling techniques in a hospitality setting
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact professionally with guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper table setting techniques is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and manual handling safely throughout shifts
