Client Success Manager ( Portfolio Manager) - (Full Time)

Essential Job Functions

The Client Success Manager (CSM) is responsible for being the portfolio manager and primary point of contact for assigned property owners/clients in the E & G ecosystem and providing an outstanding customer service experience. Once assigned, the CSM oversees the successful onboarding and integration of clients into the ecosystem and provides critical property analysis and timely updates to property owners regarding property status, property strategy and property recommendations. It is up to the CSM to know each assigned property owners strategy and investment goals for their property and to help facilitate those goals. The CSM also assist clients in ensuring any questions regarding their investment properties are answered and any issues are addressed in a timely manner. The CSM is a dynamic position that will learn nearly all aspects of E&Gs leasing, sales, and property management processes and provide timely assistance and support to clients and E & G staff to maximize client satisfaction and minimize resolution times.

Specific job responsibilities and accountabilities for this position include:

- Serve as a primary point of contact for property owners regarding management onboarding, property strategy and rental/sales analysis, the status of leasing or projects at the property, property lease renewals, property inspections, tenant or delinquency issues, assigned property management escalations and other property management related processes.

-Conduct property sales, leasing, and project update analysis for assigned properties and discuss said analysis with property owner to determine annual and long-term property strategy and goals.

-Provide proper transitions through the E & G Ecosystem and partner with E & G staff to help accomplish property owner strategy and goals.

-Oversee timely property owner communications and status updates, and provide resolutions to any inquiries.

- Promptly address property owner questions and concerns regarding their properties.

- Provide accounting assistance and explanations as needed for property owners.

- Conduct regular touch bases and maintain clear communication with the Maintenance Department, Resident Management Department, the Director of Property Management and other E & G and third party staff to ensure current status of property-related items.

- Facilitate smooth transitions between departments when a property owner is looking to sell their rental property/properties or purchase new investment properties.

- Provide feedback to management/leadership regarding potential gaps in service.

- Assist in the implementation of projects that will provide a greater service to all clients and properties (ex. management agreement updates, recurring services, insurance compliance, process updates)

- Assist in the development and implementation of client appreciation activities and events

-Escalate property owner or property related issues as needed to the Director of Property Management for prompt resolution.


Essential Job Requirements

  • Embody core values; uphold policies, procedures and deadlines
  • Active real estate licensure with the State of Arizona Department of Real Estate
  • Detailed understanding of the Arizona Residential Landlord Tenant Act, property management processes, and related regulations.
  • Ability to run property comparable analyses via MLS and third party sites to determine property sales price and rental pricing.
  • Background in property turns and/or project management or property maintenance

preferred.

  • Proficiency with Apple computers, Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Suite products, including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Sheets, and Dropbox.
  • Proficiency with Appfolio or other property management software.
  • Proficiency with Lead Simple or other task management software.
  • 2 years of residential sales and/or leasing experience preferred.
  • A working smart phone with video capability and/or ability to record in detail property condition.
  • Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and an active drivers license.
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills
  • Customer-service orientation with a friendly demeanor
  • Highly organized with strong drafting and planning skills
  • Ability to successfully coordinate numerous projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize numerous matters and work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and noisy work environment
  • Ability to handle a high call volume.
  • Successful performance in a leasing or property management role at E & G for no less than 6 months prior to assuming Client Success Manager responsibilities.

This position will work 80-90% and up to 100% at the Company office in Tempe during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Up to 10% of the balance of time may be spent offsite at client properties or meeting with clients/property owners. There may be time worked on evenings and weekends as dictated by business needs. This position is eligible for E & Gs Remote Work policy, although attendance at the Company office is mandatory on Mondays.
