ABOUT THIS ROLE:
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Team Lead to add to our growing team and become the driving force behind our high voltage projects. You’ll be part of the design team for a range of multi-disciplinary Transmission & Distribution projects both domestically and internationally.
The Design Team Leads are responsible for leading & managing the design team that he/she is allocated. He/she will report directly to the Engineering Manager/Engineering Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall responsibility for the day to day running of the design team, including ensuring adequate resources are assigned and the projects run efficiently.
- Assign and co-ordinate work to Electrical Engineers and ensure work provided is on track for completion in line with project milestones.
- Ensure close collaboration with the Civil and BIM teams.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure career progression is maintained and CPD is being recorded.
- Approving the engineering drawings & documents prior to issuing to clients.
- Organizing and chairing weekly design team meetings to ensure the team or working collaboratively and track project progress.
- Attend monthly Engineering lead meetings and ensure clear communication from that meeting to the team.
- Attend bi-annual Engineering lead workshops and lessoned learned sessions and ensure clear communication from that workshop to the team.
REQUIRMENTS:
- Honors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with Data Centers experience preferably.
- Proficient in design software including ETAP, EPLAN, and AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proven team player with a high level of initiative and problem-solving ability.
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
