Host/Hostess

e Fiori Ristorante is seeking polished, professional, and hospitality-driven Hosts to join our team.

As the first and last impression of the e Fiori experience, our Hosts play an essential role in creating a warm, refined, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest. This position works closely with the Lead host and management team to ensure smooth dining room operations, thoughtful guest service, and seamless reservation management.

Our concept blends authentic Italian cuisine with refined European service standards within an approachable Roman-inspired urban atmosphere. We are looking for individuals who are organized, personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality and Italy.

What You'll Deliver

Guest Experience

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm
• Create a memorable first and last impression for every guest
• Escort guests to their tables while communicating important information to service staff
• Anticipate guest needs and provide gracious assistance throughout their visit
• Handle guest interactions with poise, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Support service recovery efforts by addressing concerns promptly and appropriately

Reservations & Guest Communication

• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists accurately and efficiently
• Utilize OpenTable to manage seating assignments, guest notes, and reservation details
• Answer phones professionally and assist guests with reservations, inquiries, and special requests
• Support reservation pacing and seating rotation under the direction of the Lead Host / Hostess
• Record guest preferences, celebrations, allergies, and special accommodations when appropriate
• Assist with responding to guest inquiries before and after their dining experience

Dining Room Coordination

• Maintain awareness of table status, reservation timing, and dining room flow
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, food runners, and managers
• Assist with Front of House chit coordination and service communication when needed
• Support efficient guest seating while maintaining service standards and dining room pacing
• Help ensure VIP guests and special occasions are properly recognized

Opening, Closing & Facility Standards

• Assist with opening and closing Front of House responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, reception area, and entrance
• Ensure menus, reservation materials, and guest-facing supplies are organized and presentable
• Prepare and maintain guest lavatories, including candles, hand soaps, amenities, and overall presentation

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 1 year of hospitality, restaurant, customer service, retail luxury, or guest-facing experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred

• Previous Host, Hostess, Concierge, or Guest Relations experience
• Experience with OpenTable or reservation management systems
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems
• Experience in upscale dining, hospitality, hotel, or private club environments
• Experience with Tripleseat
