Position Overview:

VitalEdge is seeking an ambitious and technically driven Solutions Architect to support LHP Telematics, our telematics solution within the broader VitalEdge portfolio.

In this role, you will help shape the LHP demo strategy, develop the technical narrative, and create a compelling customer experience for dealers, OEM partners, and prospective customers. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, existing Solutions Architects, and OEM and Customer Sales leadership to translate LHP’s capabilities into clear business value.

A key focus of the role will be demonstrating how telematics data — including location, engine hours, meter readings, fault codes, utilization, and asset health — can connect with VitalEdge’s broader ERP, DMS, and rental solutions. You will become a subject matter expert on the LHP platform, take ownership of the demo environment, and serve as a technical resource throughout the customer sales and discovery process.

The role will include significant early ramp-up and shadowing of customer calls and product demonstrations before transitioning into independent ownership of customer-facing demos and technical discussions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead product demonstrations of the LHP Telematics platform for existing VitalEdge customers and prospective customers, tailoring each session to the customer’s fleet, business needs, and use cases.
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve the LHP demo environment using representative device, fleet, reporting, and telematics data that reflects real-world customer scenarios.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to translate customer discovery questions, use cases, competitive positioning, and product capabilities into a consistent and compelling demo narrative.
• Serve as a technical resource during customer and prospect conversations, addressing questions related to the platform, data, integrations, and technical capabilities.
• Support integration discovery by helping map how telematics data such as location, engine hours, meter readings, fault codes, utilization, and asset health connects with VitalEdge solutions including e-Emphasys ERP, IntelliDealer, and Integrated Rental.
• Develop hands-on expertise with the LHP demo and training systems and ensure environments remain current as product capabilities evolve.
• Partner closely with OEM and Customer Sales leads during onboarding by shadowing demonstrations, discovery meetings, and ongoing customer conversations.
• Represent VitalEdge at customer meetings, OEM engagements, exhibitions, conferences, and other industry events as needed.
• Provide structured feedback from customer and prospect conversations to Product, Sales, and Marketing teams, identifying recurring objections, product gaps, integration opportunities, and successful use cases.
• Help establish scalable best practices for demonstrating and positioning LHP Telematics as the solution becomes increasingly integrated into the broader VitalEdge product portfolio.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Pre-Sales, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience leading live software demonstrations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for customers evaluating software solutions.
• Working knowledge of how machine, device, telematics, IoT, or sensor data is captured, transmitted, integrated, and used downstream.
• Familiarity with APIs, CAN messages, equipment data, or similar technical concepts is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with ERP, DMS, rental software, telematics, IoT, fleet management, asset management, or other enterprise software environments is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage directly with customers, prospects, dealers, and OEM partners.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and technical teams.
• Ability to operate effectively in a growing and evolving environment as LHP Telematics becomes increasingly integrated into the broader VitalEdge portfolio.
• Experience within the construction, heavy equipment, off-highway, equipment rental, agriculture, mining, forestry, or dealer/OEM ecosystem is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel periodically for customer visits, OEM engagements, conferences, and industry events.
