Position Overview
Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer:
This is an opportunity for Infor LN Developers / Technical Consultants to be part of our Operations Support Team. Operations Support Team provides Production Support Services (Premium as well as Regular) for our product to our customers. This role is critical to make sure that there are No disturbances to their business while using our system. The team consists of functional as well as technical expertise. Expectation from this role is to provide technical help in analyzing the issues and where required develop correction scripts, performance analysis and analyzing data.
Responsibilities
- Technical Analysis – Carry out technical analysis (Infor LN) of the issues reported by means of code debug / reviewing logs. Working closely with functional consultants for issue analysis and impact assessment.
- Root Cause Analysis – Conduct root cause analysis of the reported issues (which typically occurred in specific scenario).
- Correction Programs / Reports (Forms) Development – Development of correction programs and reports (using Report Designer / SSRS) aligning with coding standards.
- Performance Analysis – Carrying out performance analysis my making use of tolls like Profiler / Query Optimizer or 3rd party tools.
- Job Management – Reviewing job setup and failure reasons, guiding team(s) for corrective actions.
- Customer Engagement – Participating in customer calls for explaining / discussing technical aspects.
- Coordination with Product Engineering – Work with Product Engineering team to explain technical analysis for solution development.
Required Skills & Education
- Proven experience as INFOR LN Developer – Versions LN FP 7, 10.4 and 10.7 with extensive experience in developing CDF, DAL, and UE Scripts
- Champion SQL developer, with experience in fine tuning performance
- Expertise design and development of reports
- Experience: 5 to 8 years
- Education: BE/ BTech or MCA
Location – Mumbai/ Pune (Hybrid)
