e&e is seeking a SAP S/4Hana PS & AA Specialist for a hybrid contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!

The SAP S/4HANA Project Systems & Asset Accounting Specialist is responsible for leading the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP Project Systems (PS), Asset Accounting (AA), and integrated planning solutions across S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This role requires deep functional expertise in project structuring, cross-module integration, financial planning, and S/4HANA innovations. The specialist will collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to transform project management, financial tracking, and analytics capabilities while supporting the full lifecycle of project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize SAP Project Systems configuration, including WBS elements, cost centers, networks, budgeting structures, and project-related master data in an S/4HANA environment.
• Design and implement PS structures—WBS, networks, milestones, and cost allocations—leveraging S/4HANA-specific enhancements and Fiori applications.
• Develop enterprise-grade planning models in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) that integrate real-time project and financial data from S/4HANA.
• Enhance end-to-end project management processes through collaboration with business and IT teams, utilizing S/4HANA Universal Journal, embedded analytics, and modernized workflows.
• Ensure seamless data integration between PS and related modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, and PM, as well as external or third-party systems where needed.
• Build, maintain, and optimize SAC dashboards and analytics to deliver actionable project performance insights.
• Enable integrated planning, budgeting, forecasting, and actuals tracking in SAC by connecting PS data with FI/CO, MM, and other planning processes.
• Lead change management efforts, advising on best practices and transitioning teams from legacy/manual processes to SAC-driven integrated planning solutions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts—including cross-functional and end-to-end scenarios—to ensure accurate business process, data, and integration validation.
• Assist with key onsite workshops, build and test phases, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions to support successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• 10–15 years of overall SAP GL and functional implementation experience, including a minimum of 5 years in SAP S/4HANA with hands-on expertise in Project Systems (PS) and Asset Accounting (AA).
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA PS structures, configuration, Universal Journal, and integration concepts.
• Proven experience designing planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including real-time data integration with S/4HANA.
• Deep understanding of cross-module integration across FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, and related functional areas.
• Ability to create analytic stories, dashboards, and visualizations in SAC using SAP-standard and custom models.
• Hands-on experience developing test scripts, coordinating test cycles, and validating end-to-end business processes.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder collaboration skills across business and IT teams.
• Project Commitment: Must be fully dedicated to this project with no involvement in other engagements during the project timeline.
• Onsite Availability: Must attend onsite workshops, design sessions, build and test phases, UAT, and other onsite activities as required.
