e&e is seeking a Change Management Coordinator for an onsite contract opportunity in Hyattsville, MD!
The Change Management Coordinator supports project and contract administration activities related to construction, infrastructure, or transportation projects. This role is responsible for maintaining project data, assisting with cost estimating, change order management, contract modifications, and monitoring project progress to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with project requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in both office and field environments while supporting project managers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain project and contract-related data within project management systems, including direct data entry and uploading data files.
- Support change order management activities, including drafting potential change orders, contract modification packages, and pre-negotiation documentation.
- Assist in the development, review, and preparation of project cost estimates and budget-related analysis.
- Monitor project activities, claims, change orders, and payment processes to ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting.
- Provide support for contract administration functions, including tracking project progress and maintaining compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, task managers, and stakeholders to support ongoing project execution and issue resolution.
- Assist in analyzing project data, estimates, and documentation to identify risks, discrepancies, or potential impacts to project timelines and budgets.
- Maintain organized project records, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Support both field and office-based project activities as needed.
- Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting construction, transportation, infrastructure, or related project environments.
- Experience with project cost estimating, contract administration, change order management, or project controls.
- Ability to evaluate project data and develop complex cost estimates.
- Strong understanding of project documentation, claims tracking, progress reporting, and payment processes.
- Experience working in both field and office environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Familiarity with estimating tools such as RSMeans or similar estimating references.
- Experience using project management software such as Procore or comparable systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale transportation, public infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction standards, project controls, and contract modification processes.
- Familiarity with procurement, budgeting, and risk management practices.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.
