What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lumber Yard Worker position at E&E Lumber?
E&E Lumber has been the hometown lumber and hardware store for Marysville and Sedro-Woolley for 60 years. We are not a big box store, but family owned and operated and deeply rooted in our local communities.
We are currently looking for a long-term addition to our dynamic and motivated lumber yard team at the Marysville location.

Job Requirements:
- Past experience in the building material industry
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week (Tuesday - Saturday)
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs
- Need to be in good physical shape and able to be on your feet all day
- Must have great customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
Job Responsibilities:
- You will be expected to load customer's product, as well as keep the yard clean and organized. All materials should be stocked neatly and always in the proper place.
- You will be responsible for reading and signing customer tickets making sure that they are loaded with the materials that they need.
- Inventory comes into the yard from our suppliers daily, it will be your responsibility to make sure that everything is stocked.
- Cleanliness and presentation is essential to us at E&E, the yard is expected to be clean at all times.
- You will learn how to pull loads for delivery, also pulling materials for customer pickups.
- Product knowledge is an important part of the job. As long as you are willing to learn, this will come with experience.
- Operating a forklift is a large part of what you will be doing. Attention to detail and safety is a must.
