e&e is seeking a Business Analyst for a hybrid contract opportunity in Philadelphia, PA!
The Business Analyst is responsible for defining project scope, gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business processes, and developing actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business needs into clear functional requirements and ensuring successful implementation of technology-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to collaborate across departments, and experience supporting the full project lifecycle-from discovery and design to implementation and evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and field observations to gain a thorough understanding of existing business and operational processes.
- Analyze workflows to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Document business and system requirements in a clear and organized manner.
- Research potential solutions, perform gap analyses, and prepare recommendations for decision-makers.
- Develop comprehensive implementation roadmaps, including milestones, schedules, and resource plans.
- Partner with project managers to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain project schedules.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track project progress and performance metrics.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business needs are clearly communicated and met.
- Support testing efforts by defining validation methodologies and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Work with training teams and service providers to plan and deliver end-user onboarding and system adoption programs.
- Evaluate post-implementation outcomes to ensure business objectives and KPIs are achieved.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proven ability to analyze, document, and communicate complex business processes and requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within structured project methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience using JIRA or similar project tracking tools (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
