About the role
E & E Capital Management, LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable Painting Specialist / Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in Decatur, GA. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship and can handle a variety of maintenance tasks to keep our properties in excellent condition.
Key responsibilities
- Perform interior and exterior painting of residential and commercial properties
- Prepare surfaces, including sanding, patching, priming, and caulking prior to painting
- Conduct routine and preventive property maintenance inspections
- Complete general repairs including drywall, carpentry, flooring, and fixtures
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on all work sites
- Communicate progress and issues clearly to supervisors
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional painting and/or maintenance experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and painting equipment
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and paint application methods
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in property management maintenance settings
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices
- Ability to handle minor plumbing, electrical, or HVAC tasks
Compensation & benefits
