E & E Capital Management, LLC oversees a rapidly expanding portfolio of single-family rental properties throughout Riverdale, GA. We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable On-Call Maintenance Technician to address after-hours maintenance issues and urgent repair requests.
Position Overview
In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for after-hours maintenance needs, handling a wide range of repair and troubleshooting tasks. You’ll work independently to assess and resolve maintenance concerns efficiently while maintaining strong communication with residents, vendors, and the property management team.
This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality work, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service.
Primary Duties
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency and after-hours maintenance requests.
- Troubleshoot and repair problems involving plumbing, minor electrical, HVAC, appliances, locks, and general property upkeep.
- Complete make-ready tasks and prepare units for new tenant move-ins.
- Document work performed, including materials used and before/after photos.
- Maintain professional communication with residents, supervisors, and service vendors.
- Ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment remain clean, organized, and in safe working condition.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized or large-scale repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in residential maintenance, property management, or skilled trades.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of plumbing, basic electrical systems, HVAC troubleshooting, and general repairs.
- License: Must hold a valid Georgia driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
- Certifications: EPA 608 or other trade certifications are a plus, but not required.
- Availability: Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays on an on-call schedule.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and access tight spaces such as crawl areas and attics.
- Personal Attributes: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a professional attitude.
