E‑Distribution is seeking a Structural Solutions Designer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, analyze, and refine mechanical and structural systems used in material‑handling and warehouse racking applications. You’ll transform customer requirements into reliable, efficient, and cost‑effective solutions while collaborating closely with sales, vendors, and internal fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical and structural designs using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Prepare bills of material for proposals and orders
- Create engineering calculations, layouts, and design documentation
- Produce fabrication and installation drawings
- Perform structural analysis to meet customer specifications and comply with applicable codes
- Create and review schematics, technical drawings, and drafting documents
- Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical failures and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with third‑party engineering services and external product suppliers to integrate purchased systems
- Apply ASME codes & standards to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor) for mechanical modeling and drafting
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, system design, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with FEA tools for structural analysis and simulation
- Ability to manage project schedules, timelines, and multiple concurrent tasks
- Experience applying ASME codes & standards in design work
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities
- Engineering degree or substantial experience in mechanical or sales engineering
Pay: $68,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
