Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and renovation projects. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage wiring on commercial and industrial sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute electrical work.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system performance.
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards to ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting routine inspections of tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician in construction or renovation environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage, schematics, blueprints reading, and NEC standards.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices.
- Ability to read technical schematics and construction blueprints accurately.
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety practices and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
