Overview
At E Bike Cyclery, we specialize in electric bike sales and servicing. We are a growing company with current ebike stores in San Dimas, CA and Monrovia, CA. Positions are available at both locations. We are seeking part-time and full-time associates to join our team that would be responsible for assisting customers, assembling ebikes, troubleshooting issues, completing sales, maintaining inventory and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties

- Greeting customers and listening carefully to their questions and needs.
- Helping customers select the perfect ebike and accessories.
- Utilize upselling techniques and negotiation skills to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about ebikes.
- Assembling and servicing electric bikes.
- Staying up-to-date with our brands, products, company events, sales, promotions, and being a resource for our customers.
- Handling customer phone calls with great phone etiquette.
- Operate Lightspeed Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to complete transactions accurately.
- Supervisors will need to supervise, motivate, and provide guidance to staff members as needed.
Requirements
- PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY. You MUST meet the following requirements and or skills in order to be considered.
- You must be very familiar with electric bikes and be passionate about them.
- You must have a great personality and have a desire to help others.
- Previous experience in retail sales or bike shop experience in preferred.
- You must be self-motivated and have a desire to stay busy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Is required.
- Must be able to unbox and assemble an ebike. Basic mechanical skills are required.
- Proficiency in POS system and apply basic math for accurate register transaction processing.
- Ability to listen carefully and communicate effectively; bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have dependable attendance and punctuality, which includes weekends.
- Ability to stand for extensive time periods and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Supervisors must posses strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
