Land Survey Design Technician (Omaha Office)

Description
We are seeking a Full-Time Land Survey Design Technician in our Omaha office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can communicate effectively with clients and team members. This individual will have a proven track record in technical survey drafting. Additionally, this candidate will:
- Perform drafting and calculations for construction and general surveying projects to include topographic, ALTA, boundary, Right of Way, and As-Built Surveys
- Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits in AutoCAD Civil 3D software
- Processing of field data and performing staking calculations using LGO
- Accurately analyze and calculate vertical and horizontal control surveys under the direction of a Registered Land Surveyor
- Perform CADD functions and facilitate CADD or design functions for all the above in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Perform other job responsibilities related to land engineering functions as required
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Five years’ experience in Land Survey Technical Drafting
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Certificate and/or Associates Degree in Drafting Technology, Land Surveying, or related
- Working knowledge of Land Survey Processing and Data Collection Software
- Ability to effectively work independently under tight deadlines
- Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Nine years experience in Land Survey Technical Drafting
